Make Up Artistry on the set of Lost!

This month's issue of Skin Inc magazine has an exclusive interview with make - up artist, Emily Katz.   Emily goes into depth about just what it takes to make the stars shine or not shine, depending on the scene.  And "Lost" definitely has the corner on a variety of scenes.  Dealing with an international cast also brings a great deal of variety in the application of products.

This article is fascinating if you are a fan of "Lost" or if you are involved in using the right products on characters on your film set.

Try to find a copy of the magazine today:

Request information on the products that Emily uses or that you can use on your film set!

Are you ready for the Oscars?!

Christian Brando!

http://www.eonline.com/news/article/index.jsp?uuid=839e7a4c-5b93-43a5-8320-539230a00bc7&entry=index&sid=rss_topstories&utm_source=eonline&utm_medium=rssfeeds&utm_campaign=rss_topstories

January seems to be the harbinger of bad news for the film community.

Please remember Marlon Brando's family in your thoughts as they deal

with the loss of their son, Christian.

Heath!/Photo Slideshow!

http://www.nytimes.com/slideshow/2008/01/22/movies/0122-LEDGER_10.html

For some reason, things like this will always stun us.  Try as we might, we can't make sense of things that seem so senseless.

I remember a lot of people we have lost along the way through every possible circumstance.  There seems to be no justification in their deaths.

The thing that shines is the remembrance of the person, what he meant to us, and to honor his memory as best as we can.

To Heath, for inspiring actors past and present, and yet to come in the future!

Rest in Heavenly Peace...
